About Glaecier
Glaecier is a new membership-based bathing club located on Refshaleøen with the most fantastic view of Copenhagen. Glaecier is built on a large, specially designed-houseboat and features a floating pool with a wooden deck and outdoor areas.
The sauna offers Denmark’s best panoramic view, and the pool is filled with filtered and crystal-clear harbor water. A Glaecier membership is a subscription-based with a fixed monthly fee, which gives you daily access to Glaecier’s facilities. The idea is to create exclusive winter-/ summer bathing experiences with a sauna and an inclusive community for all members.

Community is the cornerstone of Glaecier. A community with room for diversity, variety, and good conversation.
We wish to create a place that allows for meeting new people and forming relationships in an informal way.
A place where one can share thoughts, ideas, and feelings. In addition to the random encounters among members, we also host various events and gatherings, all of which contribute to building relationships between members. Thus, the social element is a central part of being a member of Glaecier.

It’s both free and non-binding. The lobby is not a waiting list, and memberships are allocated through a random selection process, based on our diversity criteria.

Cancellation: We have a binding period of 5 months. After that, the notice of termination is the current month + 1 month.

Glaecier’s Sauna Gus combines warmth and essential oils aiming to create an aromatic steam experience that promotes relaxation and well-being.
A Glaecier Gus consists of three sauna rounds, interspersed with a refreshing dip in the pool.
Using carefully selected essential oils, we ensure you’re gradually guided through an experience that reduces your stress levels, improves your circulation, and leaves you feeling wonderful in both body and mind.
Open Sauna Gus: This offers a chance to experience Glaecier without membership. Discover our fantastic facilities and enjoy the relaxing effect of a gus session. This experience is available for booking by anyone, whether you’re a member or not.
